A Christmas Commission

A friend whose family has owned this property 

in Monticello, SC for over 200 years

asked me to paint a picture of the barn.

We had prints made of the original for 

Christmas gifts for her brothers!! 

This was a very special commission for me!

The Best Kind of Commission

I was asked to do this pet portrait by a friend

to be given as a gift to the owner!  

Sweet puppy!

And the owner was quite pleased...which made me happy!!

He actually reminds me of my "Henry!"

They say practice makes perfect! Well...
