A HELPFUL HINT for preparing a wedding list...

Consider the type wedding you are having, casual or formal. If your wedding is formal and you have purchased invitations, consider making every effort to have full names.  That means no nicknames and no initials when you address the invitations. Plus if you are paying a calligrapher, why not get the full benefit of their talent!  Sometimes individuals don't want to give you their full names or to tell you what the "initial" stands for (I'm not sure why, but you certainly don't want to make your friends angry or uncomfortable); so don't be obnoxious!!  Do the best you can and just drop the initial!  You tried!  Good luck on that list!!
