That Wedding List and Sr.& Jr.

Suffixes, when addressing invitations, can be very important especially if the family members live in the same town.  Before you prepare that list, however, consider one thing.  No one is born a Sr.!!  While it is used to distinguish the father from his son, it should never be used when addressing an invitation.  When the suffix Jr. is used, it should be written out, all lower case with a comma before it.  If space does not allow for this or the invitation is casual, it may be abbreviated with the "J" capitalized, a comma before it and a period after...just as you would expect! More comments on using the suffixes later!!
