Those other suffixes, II, III, IV,& V, often cause confusion. First of all, let me remind everyone that these are Roman Numerals not Arabic Numerals. They are the capital letters of the "i" and the "v". It's surprising to me the number of people who write them using the Arabic Numerals, 111, instead of the correct III. So be careful when you address those invitations!
Also, when addressing the invitation, the question often comes up about whether a comma is used before these suffixes. Either is correct! So that one's easy.
OK...you ask how can I speak with such authority. Well, lots and lots of reading and research on the subject and also the Crane's Wedding Blue Book by Steven L. Feinberg, an excellent source!!
Good luck with THE list!!
